Script- March 8th, 2018

I started my script!
I actually wrote further beyond what the opening would be to try and get a stronger concept of my story, and flesh out all details before embarking on such a task.
This post is going to be short because all the news I have for right now is a drafted script.

As Long As We Both Shall Live

Into Camera

First black, and then we see Girl and Boy

Girl

We’re engaged! I can’t believe it

Boy

Believe it. I love you.

Girl

I love you more.

Black

Then another camera video

In a store, looking at items to put on wedding registry

Girl

Honey? Where is he… Babe its not funny, where are you?

She approaches an aisle and walks down skeptically

Suddenly, Boy pops out and scares her. Girl screams but is soon overcome with laughter, like Boy.

Girl

AH! Jesus, babe! Begins to laugh uncontrollably

Boy goes in for a hug and covers camera. We see black

Next shot

On couch. Boy holds camera facing Girl. She is sobbing watching a sad movie. He finds this hilarious.

Girl

It’s not funny!

Boy

Laughing

Yes it is.

Girl

So my suffering is funny to you?

Boy

Of course!

Girl

I hate you.

Playfully shoves him

Camera falls

Boy

I hate you more.

Next homemade video.

Boy is asleep at computer. Fell asleep while working. Girl is holding a cupcake with a lit candle while holding the camera.

Girl

Honey.

Nothing.

Tapping him

Girl

Honey.

Boy

What… five more minutes.

Girl

You said five more minutes six hours ago.

Boy

What time is it?

Checks computer screen

1 in the morning?

Girl

Happy 28^th, Babe.

Boy blows out candle. Black.

Next clip

Boy

Is that published script writer slash director _____?

Girl walks out of large building

Girl

They bought it. They loved it.

Boy

Is that the next Spielberg?

Girl

Please.

Boy

You’re right. You’re not the next Spielberg. You’re you. And you just sold your pitch.

She jumps into his arms. Blackness.

Next video.

Boy is steadying camera so that it stands alone. Camera faces a dining room table decorated for an anniversary. Candles, a nice dinner. Boy walks away.

Boy

Perfect.

Boy checks camera once again, looks at watch and leaves the room, seeming to forget something.

Camera remains in place, still recording table and door.

We hear hurried footsteps followed by hard breathing.

There are louder, harsher footsteps.

There are slams on walls.

Girl

Unseen.

No! Please! Please don’t! Hel-

We hear slicing and stabbing noises followed by more staggered breathing.

The Boy reenters the room with a vase.

The door opens. It is the girl, bloodied and stabbed.

The Boy drops the vase while the Girl falls, unconscious but not dead. Camera falls with them.

Boy

NO! NO! NO! HELP! ANYONE!

Boy begins to cry hysterically. Then nothing. Sudden darkness.

Title shows.
