Script Rewrites

These are my rewrites!
We will be filming in the Weston Regional Park on Sunday night, so I had to change some of the little scenes to fit the park setting more. Anyway, I sort of like this new ending clip better than the other one.

As Long As We Both Shall Live

Into Camera

First black, and then we see Girl and Boy

Girl

We’re engaged! I can’t believe it

Boy

Believe it. I love you.

Girl

I love you more.

Black

Then another camera video

In a dark parking lot

Girl

Honey? Where is he… Babe its not funny, where are you?

She approaches a row of cars and walks down skeptically

Suddenly, Boy pops out and scares her. Girl screams but is soon overcome with laughter, like Boy.

Girl

AH! Jesus, babe! Begins to laugh uncontrollably

Boy goes in for a hug and covers camera. We see black

Next shot

On couch. Boy holds camera facing Girl. She is crying watching a video on her phone. He finds this hilarious.

Girl

It’s not funny!

Boy

Laughing

Yes it is.

Girl

So my suffering is funny to you?

Boy

Of course!

Girl

I hate you.

Playfully shoves him

Camera falls

Boy

I hate you more.

Next homemade video.

Boy is asleep at computer. Fell asleep while working. Girl is holding a cupcake with a lit candle while holding the camera.

Boy

Is that the latest published script writer slash director?

Girl walks out of large building

Girl

They bought it. They loved it.

Boy

Is that the next Spielberg?

Girl

Please.

Boy

You’re right. You’re you. And you just sold your pitch.

She jumps into his arms. Blackness.

Next video.

Boy is holding camera towards him and Girl. They are walking away from a dimly lit park, presumably back towards the car.

Boy

We just had an impromptu date at the park.

Girl

It wasn’t impromptu, you’ve been asking to come here for weeks.

Boy

Okay, okay. Well we just decided on a few things for the wedding!

Girl

Oh, babe I left something back at the park, I’m gonna go get it.

Boy

Oh, okay. I’ll wait in the car. I’ll update the camera on our decisions.

Girl

Okay.

She looks nervous to go back into the dark alone, but doesn’t try to get him to stay.

The boy walks a short distance to the car and places the camera on the dash board.

Boy

So after a lengthy debate, we have compromised on a Red Velvet cake. It’s both of our second favorites. We also decided on using her niece and nephew as the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer. And-

Camera remains in place, still recording.

We hear hurried footsteps followed by hard breathing.

There are louder, harsher footsteps.

Girl

Unseen.

No! Please! Please don’t! Hel-

The boy looks out into the darkness but doesn’t leave the car. He is skeptical- it could be a joke.

We hear gunshots noises followed by more staggered breathing.

The Boy hears this and then sees the Girl fall towards him. He scrambles to unbuckle his seat belt in the car.  The camera remains on the dashboard where it was.

Boy

unseen

NO! NO! NO! HELP! ANYONE!

Boy begins to cry hysterically. Then nothing. Sudden darkness.
